Marcus Stewart is a veteranstriker who was in his third season at Exeter City in 2010-11. 

Marcus, who appeared in the Premier League for both Ipswich and Sunderland earlier in his career,was very much a squad member during the season and in April he announced his retirement as a player before joining the coaching staff at St James' Park. 

His experience and guile had proved important for the Grecians and assisted in earning promotion from League Two at the first attempt in 2008-09. 

Marcus, who was a prolific scorer in the early part of his career, and netted 250 goals after starting out at Bristol Rovers in 1991.
