Luke Prosser

Luke Prosser is a tall defender who signed for Southend United during the summer of 2010. He impressed Shrimpers’ manager Paul Sturrock during the pre-season to earn a contract but was in and out of the side in the first half of the campaign. In January he joined Conference outfit Rushden & Diamonds on loan and on his return to Roots Hall he regained a place in the side at left back. Luke previously spent four seasons as a professional with Port Vale, mostly featuring as a left-sided centre back.
