Player Details

Luke Moore is a young striker who signed for Swansea City in the January 2011 transfer window. An out-and-out striker, Luke has pace and the ability to create space for himself. A product of the Aston Villa academy, he signed professional forms with Villa and also spent time on loan with Wycombe Wanderers before joining West Bromwich Albion, initially on loan, in February 2008; the deal was made permanent three months later. Luke was used mainly as a substitute during his early Albion career but gradually established himself as a regular starter in the first-team line- up. However, he was out of favour at the start of 2010-11 and after spending time on loan to Derby he joined the Swans. He featured regularly in the second half of the campaign, contributing to the club?s unforgettable success in the promotion play-off final against Reading.
