Luke Chambers is a versatile defender on the books of Nottingham Forest. Signed in January 2007 from Northampton Town, he was employed at right back for the first two seasons before switching to his former role as a central defender. Luke is effective in the air and a sound tackler, while he also offers a threat when moving up to support the attack for set pieces. After being on the fringes of the first-team squad in 2009-10, Luke re-established himself in the line-up in 2010-11 and became a key player in the side. His value was recognised by the fans who selected him as the club?s Player of the Year.
