Liam Henderson is a powerfully built young striker for Watford.

A product of the club’s youth set-up, he made his senior debut when he came off the bench during the Carling Cup tie with Darlington in August 2008.

Since then he has gained further experience as a substitute, although his only starts came during a loan spell with Hartlepool in 2008-09.

Liam, who was leading scorer for the club’s reserve team in 2009-10, found his opportunities somewhat limited at Vicarage Road in 2010-11 so he spent the majority of the season out on loan.

Liam moved on in the summer of 2011, signing for Conference club York City.
