Lewis Neal Biography
Lewis Neal is a winger who joined Shrewsbury
Town in the summer of 2009 after being released by Carlisle United.
Lewis is
most at home on the left side of a midfield four but has also been used in a
more central role.
He found it difficult to hold down a place in the line-up in
the 2010-11 season and was released by mutual consent in January. He
subsequently moved to the United States and signed for newly formed USL Pro
league outfit Orlando City in March. He got off to a good start, scoring the
club’s first-ever goal in a friendly against Philadelphia Union.
Lewis started
his career at Stoke City where he made over 50 appearances before moving on.
