Kirk Millar is a young attacking player who was in his first year as a professional with Oldham Athletic in 2010-11. Kirk already had experience of senior football having made his first-team debut for Irish League club Linfield when he appeared in a CIS Cup game at the age of 16. He developed quickly with theLatics, progressing from the youth team into the reserves before being given his League Onedebut when he came off the bench against Wycombe Wanderers in March 2010. He went on to add further appearances as a substitute in the 2010-11 campaign, also gaining his first cap for Northern Ireland U21s when he came off the bench against San Marino in September 2010.
