Player Details

Kayode Odejayi is a big, powerful striker with pace who joined Colchester United in January 2010 after a successful loan spell with the U's.  He is a target man who has proved an effective player in his time with the U's.  Kayode featured regularly in the team throughout 2010-11 although many of his appearances were as an impact player coming off the bench.  He previously had spells with Bristol City, Cheltenham Town and Barnsley. Kayode has featured at international level for Nigeria, winning his first cap when he came off the bench against Austria in May 2008.
