Jussi Jaaskelainen Biography

Jussi Jaaskelainen is the first choice goalkeeper for Bolton Wanderers and the club’s longest-serving player.

Signed back in November 1997, Jussi is something of a legendary figure at the Reebok and made his 500th appearance for the club in the FA Cup tie with Birmingham City in March 2011. Jussi is a big powerful ‘keeper who commands his area well and is considered by many to be one of the best shot-stoppers in the Premier League.

He was previously a regular for the Finland national team, winning 56 caps for his country between 1998 and 2010.
