Julio Arca Biography

Julio Arca is an Argentine midfielder playing for Middlesbrough and has just passed his tenth season in the North East of England, having joined from Sunderland as a left back in the summer of 2006. Julio was converted to a central midfield position, a move hailed as a success with his skilful play and eye for a pass proving effective. An influential figure in the Boro midfield, Julio has been among the leading appearance makers recent seasons. Following the arrival of Tony Mowbray, Julio has flourished in his midfield role, playing in all positions across the centre of the park and displaying a real footballing mind for his new boss.
