Jose Baxter Biography

Jose Baxter is a young attacking player who developed in the Everton Academy before progressing to a professional contract.

He is a versatile player who is comfortable in midfield or playing up front. Jose made his senior debut for the Toffees on the opening day of the 2008-09 season, coming on as a substitute and thus becoming Everton's youngest-ever senior player.

Since then he has been a regular in the reserves, but only on the fringes of the first-team squad. He was the club’s Reserve Player of the Year for 2011, but his only Premier League outing came as a substitute against Bolton in February.

Jose has won representative honours for England at U16 and U17 levels, captaining the U17s.
