Jordan Sanderson is a young midfield player who was a second-year scholar at Colchester United during 2010-11. Jordan continued to appear in the U18s and reserves before gaining a taste of senior football in February when he was loaned to Conference South club Chelmsford City. Following his return to Colchester he was called into the U's first-team squad on the final day of the season and went on to make his Football League debut when he came off the bench late in the game against Bristol Rovers. Jordan was awarded a professional contract in the summer of 2011.
