Full back Jordan Clarke is a product of the Coventry City youth set-up. An athletic and skilful defender he prefers to play on the right side and is effective when overlapping down the flank when the team is in possession. Richard Keogh's form meant appearances in the first half of the 2010-11 season were few and far between and any starts were at left back. However after Andy Thorn took over as manager Jordan played virtually every game at right back and justified the faith shown in him with some consistent performances. He scored his first goal after coming on as a substitute against Barnsley - a sweet right-foot shot into the corner of the net. Later in the season he won his first England U20 cap.
