Jon Taylor is a promising wide midfield player with Shrewsbury Town. Jon rose through the ranks and previously captained the club?s youth team. Having made his debut from the bench in the 2009-10 campaign, Jon received his first start in the 3-0 win over Burton Albion in February 2011 when he scored twice. He remained in the team for the rest of the season, taking his goals tally to six goals. In February Jon was named as League Two?s Young Player of the Month and he went on to win the title of Shrewsbury?s Young Player of the Year.
