John Spicer is a versatile midfield player who was on the books of Notts County. John began his career as a trainee with Arsenal, where he gained England Youth honours and featured in the Carling Cup. However, it was only when he moved on to play for Bournemouth that he experienced regular first-team action. He subsequently played for Burnley and Doncaster before switching to Meadow Lane. John featured regularly for County in the first half of 2010-11 when he scored two goals, but generally found himself on the bench in the new year.
