Joe Walsh is a promising young defender who joined Swansea City as a 16-year-old scholar and went on to sign a full professional contract in the summer of 2010. Joe is mainly a left back but has also been used as a central defender in his time at the Liberty Stadium. He was given his senior debut in August 2010 when he started the Carling Cup tie against Barnet and was also included in the first team squad as an unused substitute on a couple of occasions during the promotion season. Joe captained the Wales U19 team during 2010-11.
