Joe Skarz is a left back who joined Bury for the start of the 2010-11season and was an ever-present throughout the campaign. Joe put in some excellent performances with his form earning him a place in the PFA League Two team of the season. He was also the Shakers? Young Player of the Year in what was his first season at Gigg Lane. Joe started out in the academy at Huddersfield Town before signing a professional contract for the Terriers. He went on to make his League debut in November 2006 and has since continued to build up his experience of senior football. He began 2009-10 as a regular in the Terriers' line-up but after losing his place was loaned to Shrewsbury Town for the second half of the campaign before moving on in the summer.
