Jimenez Tejeda Xisco Biography

Xisco is a striker who was brought to Newcastle United in August 2008 from Deportivo La Coruna.

He marked his debut with a goal against Hull City but quickly became a squad player and has made just 11 appearances since that first game. He spent 2009-10 on a season long loan to Racing Santander, but was included in the Magpies' first-team squad at the start of 2010-11.

He made appearances from the substitutes' bench against both Manchester United and Aston Villa in August but those games proved his only first-team action. Xisco was loaned back to Deportivo in January 2011 staying with the La Liga club until the end of the season.

In August he again returned to Deportivo on a season-long loan. He has represented Spain at U21 level.
