Jermaine Pennant is an experienced midfield player who initially joined Stoke City on loan from Real Zaragoza in August 2010 before signing a permanent deal the following January.

Jermaine is a tricky right winger with a good burst of pace who works hard both pushing forward down the flank and tracking back. He was a regular for the Potters throughout the 2010-11 season, producing some impressive performances and helping to inspire the team to reach the FA Cup final for the first time in their history.

Jermaine made his senior debut for Notts County back in December 1998 at the age of 15 and was sold to Arsenal for a substantial fee shortly afterwards. He never quite established himself with the Gunners before moving on to Birmingham City and then Liverpool.

He enjoyed one season of regular first-team football at Anfield, but thereafter he became something of a fringe player and eventually moved on to Real Zaragoza.
