Jay McEveley

Jay McEveley is a defender who signed for Barnsley from their Championship rivals Derby County in July 2010. Jay appeared at left back in the opening weeks of the season before suffering a knee injury in October which put him out of action for five months. He returned in March 2011 and played regularly in the closing weeks of the campaign. Jay is a consistent defender whose form at the start of 2010-11 earned him a recall to the Scotland squad although he did not add to his total of caps. He has also represented Scotland at B international level as well as England U21s.
