Javan Vidal Biography

Javan Vidal is a versatile right-sided player for Manchester City.

Comfortable at right back, right wing back or on the right-hand side of midfield he is a product of City’s academy set-up and played regularly for the reserves during his time at the club.

He also featured on the bench for the first team on a number of occasions. In February 2010 he spent time on loan with Derby County, but his only appearance came as a late substitute in the home win over Newcastle.

Javan gained further experience in a loan spell with Chesterfield in 2010-11, but was released by City at the end of the season.

He has been capped for England at U19 and U20 levels.
