Jason Brown

Jason Brown is a goalkeeper who was on the books of Blackburn Rovers in 2010-11.

Jason is a solid ‘keeper with a commanding presence over his area. After developing through the Charlton Athletic youth set-up, Jason moved on to Gillingham where he quickly won a regular place in the line-up.

International honours for Wales followed and in the summer of 2006 he signed for Rovers. After this he became the team’s back-up ‘keeper receiving occasional first-team outings as cover, most recently when he enjoyed a brief run in the side in March 2010. However, in 2010-11 he did not feature and spent most of the season out on loan with Leeds, Leyton Orient and Cardiff City.

He was out of contract in the summer of 2011 and moved to the SPL, signing for Aberdeen. Jason has two full caps for Wales, his last appearance coming against Liechtenstein in November 2006.
