Jason Lowe was in his second year as a professional with Blackburn Rovers in 2010-11. A hard tackling central midfield player, he is a product of the club?s youth programme. After developing in the academy and reserve teams at Ewood Park, Jason was promoted to the first-team squad and made his senior debut in the FA Cup tie with Queen?s Park Rangers in January 2011, adding a further appearance as a substitute at Chelsea shortly afterwards. He finished the season with a successful spell on loan to Oldham and in the summer captained the England U20 team at the FIFA U20 World Cup tournament in Colombia.
