Player Details

Jamie Devitt is a young midfield player on the books of Hull City. A product of the club?s youth set-up, he signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2009. Jamie is a left-sided midfielder, quick and good at cutting infield to present a goal threat. He spent most of the 2009-10 campaign gaining experience of senior football with a string of loan spells in League Two, which saw him turn out for Darlington, Shrewsbury and Grimsby Town. Jamie made his first-team debut for Hull when he came off the bench to play in the final 20 minutes of the opening game of the 2010-11 season against Swansea and went on to feature on a number of occasions for the first team, as well as producing several fine displays for the reserves. Having previously represented the Republic of Ireland at U17 and U19 levels, he made his debut for the U21s in February 2011.
