James Milner is a midfielder who joined Manchester City in the summer of 2010, making his debut at home to Liverpool in August. A tenacious player James proved to be a useful squad member, making 22 Premier League appearances during 2010-11. He was an unused substitute for the 2011 FA Cup final but appeared in several crucial games, including the 1-0 victory over Tottenham that guaranteed Champions? League football. James made his name at Leeds, where he was the second-youngest player to make a Premier League appearance and later moved on to Newcastle. He then spent three seasons at Aston Villa, making exactly 100 Premier League appearances. Originally a winger, James can also play in a more central role.
