James Dunne is a young midfielder who joined Exeter City in the summer of 2009. James is a hard working defensive midfield player who began his career in the academy at Arsenal before signing a professional contract for the Gunners in September 2007. James appeared regularly in the U18s and reserves at Arsenal but was released at the end of 2008-09. He made his senior debut for the Grecians at Gillingham in September 2009 and went on to feature regularly in the first team in the second half of the season. James made excellent progress during the 2010-11 campaign when he firmly established himself in the line-up and became an important member of the team.
