Jack Payne Biography
Jack Payne is a talented young midfield player who made his first-team debut for Gillingham at the age of 16. Jack signeda professional contract in January 2009, shortly after his 17th birthday, and has had the distinction of winning the club's Young Player of the Year award in three consecutive seasons: 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11. Jack, who performs a holding role in the centre of midfield, took his total of senior appearances to more than 50 in 2010-11, when he established himself in the line-up, scoring his first goal in the 2-1 win over Stockport in October.
