Midfielder Jack Collison signed for West Ham United from Cambridge United in the summer of 2005. He continued his development at Upton Park and after captaining the reserve team he made his Premier League debut in January 2008. Jack suffered a serious knee injury in March 2010 which kept him out of action for 14 months. He only returned in May 2011 when he came off the bench against Blackburn Rovers and then started the final two Premier League games of the season. Jack finished the campaign with an appearance for Wales against Northern Ireland at the end of May earning his 11th full cap for his country.
