Ismail Yakubu Biography
Ismail Yakubu is a solid central defender
who came through the youth system at Barnet to sign professional forms for the
Bees.
He was in the first team at the age of 17 and went on to make over 250
senior appearances for the club.
Ismail, who is strong in the air and a good
tackler, played regularly in the first half of 2009-10 but missed the latter
months of the season through injury and was released in the summer.
He went on
to sign for Conference club AFC Wimbledon.
