Ian Sharps Biography
Ian Sharps is an experienced central defender with
Shrewsbury Town.
He was signed on a free transfer from Rotherham in July 2010
and immediately became a regular for the Shrews, also being installed as club
captain.
He is a determined player who is powerful in the air and times his
tackles well.Ian enjoyed a successful season in 2010-11, leading his team
to a place in the play-offs and winning the club’s Player of the Year and
Players’ Player of the Year awards.
