Guly Do Prado

Guly do Prado initially joined Southampton for an extended loan period in August 2010 before signing on a more permanent basis in the January transfer window. Although previously known as a central midfield player, Guly established himself for the Saints as a partner for Rickie Lambert up front. A talented ball player he is difficult to dispossess, he is invariably positioned where he is needed, and has proved particularly hard to combat in the air. Guly began his career in Brazil with Portuguesa Santista of Sao Paulo before spending several years in Italy, most recently with Cesena.
