Grant Hanley Biography
Grant Hanley is a young defender who was in his third season as a professional for Blackburn Rovers in 2010-11. Grant is a no-nonsense centre back who is effective in the air and able to win his tackles. He made his debut in senior football for Rovers in the final game of the 2009-10 season against Aston Villa and added further experience of Premier League football in 2010-11. Grant has previously been capped for Scotland at U19 and U21 levels, and won his first full cap in May 2011. He was chosen as Rovers’ Young Player of the Year for 2010-11.
