Gary Madine Biography

Gary is a tall, powerful target man on the books of Sheffield Wednesday. The former Carlisle United attacker joined the Owls in the January 2011 transfer window for a sizeable fee. His Owls’ debut was cut short by injury, but he netted on his home debut and showed great promise to the end the season with five league goals. Gary started his career as a trainee at Carlisle and experienced loan spells at Chesterfield, Coventry City and Rochdale before earning a move to Hillsborough. The hard-working forward will aim to be a first choice as Gary Megson attempts to drag the Owls into the Championship in the 2011-12 campaign
