Gael Clichy is a left back who joined Arsenal in August 2003. A pacy, strong and agile defender, he was initially back-up to Ashley Cole, but went on to establish himself as first choice and make over 250 appearances for the Gunners. Gael was as dependable as ever in 2010-11, rarely missing a Premier League game and scoring only his second goal for the club in the FA Cup replay with Leyton Orient. Gael, who began his senior career with Cannes, chose to leave the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2011 and sign for Manchester City. He is a full international for France.
Since the German took over the Anfield club no side has scored more goals than Liverpool's 75.
