Edin Dzeko is a striker who signed for Manchester City in the January 2011 transfer window. However, he spent the remainder of the season settling in at Eastlands, and although he set up a goal for Yaya Toure on his debut against Wolves he never quite hit the heights of form expected of him. Edin began his career in Bosnia with FK Zelzejnicar, then moved to the Czech Republic, signing for Teplice. However, it was only when he signed for VfL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2007 that he began to attract wider attention. He proved a prolific scorer in the Bundesliga, helping shoot Wolfsburg to the title in 2008-09, and his feats eventually earned him a move to City.
