David Cotterill

David Cotterill is an attacking player who joined Swansea City in January 2010 after a successful spell on loan from Sheffield United.

David is a player with the ability to take on defenders and get the ball into the box and has been used on either flank. He began 2010-11 in the Swans’ team featuring in a role behind the strikers but then lost his place and in February was loaned to Portsmouth to the end of the season.

David began his career at Bristol City and was later at Wigan Athletic before joining Sheffield United. He represented Wales at U19 and U21 levels and went on to make his full international debut at the age of 17.

He has since continued to add to his total of caps.
