Darren Dennehy is a tall young centre back who joined Barnet in the 2010 close season.

Darren started out at Everton and then had two seasons at Cardiff City but was unable to break into the first-team squad with the Bluebirds.

He gained experience on loan at both Hereford United and Gillingham during 2009-10 and opted to switch to Underhill after he was released by Cardiff. Darren began the 2010-11 season in the starting line-up for the Bees but in September suffered an injury that put him out of action for the remainder of the campaign.

Darren has been capped for the Republic of Ireland at U21 level.
