Darren Ambrose is an attacking right or central midfielder playing for Crystal Palace who also is sometimes deployed on the left-hand side of midfield.

Having weighed in with 20 goals in 2009-10, Darren signed a new long-term contract committing his future to the Eagles as the club came out of administration under new ownership before the start of the 2010-11 season.

However, Darren had a difficult time with injuries causing him to be sidelined for large chunks of the campaign with niggling problems.

Whilst he was unable to be quite the same attacking force because of that, he was still a more than valuable asset, weighing in with seven goals in all.
