Danny Shittu Biography

Dan Shittu is an experienced central defender who rejoined Queen’s Park Rangers in the January 2011 transfer window.

He is a big, solid centre back who produces wholehearted performances. He was signed by manager Neil Warnock as cover for injuries and made a number of appearances when either Fitz Hall or Kaspars Gorkss were unavailable.

Dan began his career at Loftus Road where he was a big fans’ favourite and made over 150 appearances in his first spell at the club. He later had two good years at Watford before joining Bolton in the summer of 2008. His stay at the Reebok proved something of a disappointment and he struggled to get into the side before leaving shortly after the start of the 2010-11 season.

Fitz then spent three months at Millwall before signing for the Rs.
