Danny Murphy

Danny Murphy is a centre midfield player who was captain of Fulham in 2010-11. He is an influential figure in the centre of the park who reads the game well and provides a driving force in the engine room. Danny arrived at Craven Cottage in August 2007 and has been a regular in the side during his four seasons with the club, having made over 100 Premier League appearances. He was again a key figure in 2010-11 when he missed just one League game. Danny received his early schooling at the renowned Crewe Academy and followed this with a lengthy spell at Liverpool, where he was a member of the team that won the UEFA Cup and both domestic cups in 2001. Spells in London with Charlton and Tottenham preceded his move to Fulham.
