Daniel Potts Biography
A young defender who captained West Ham United’s U18 team in 2011-12 going on to sign his first professional contract in December. Daniel was called into the first team squad the next day and made an assured Football League debut playing at left back against Barnsley. Daniel, who is the son of former West Ham captain Steve Potts, added further first team appearances and was the Young Hammer of the Year. Having represented the USA U20 team in a friendly in May 2011 he was later found to be ineligible for that country and in March 2012 made his debut for England U18s.
