Dan Gosling is a talented midfield player who signed for Newcastle United in July 2010 after previously playing for Everton. Dan was still recovering from injury when he arrived at St James' Park and only returned to training in November. He finally made his first-team debut when he came on as a late substitute in the derby clash with Sunderland in January but then suffered further injury problems which kept him out for the remainder of 2010-11. Dan began his career with Plymouth Argyle making his League debut for the Pilgrims as a 16-year-old. He gained further experience before earning a move to Everton in January 2008. Dan continued his development at Goodison making a number of first-team appearances. He came off the bench in the FA Cup final defeat against Chelsea in May 2009 but eventually chose to leave Merseyside for the North East. Dan has represented England at all levels from U17 to U21. © 2011 - PFA Player Profiles
