Dale Tonge

Dale Tonge is a defender who is in his fourth season with League Two club Rotherham United after signing from Barnsley. Dale is a determined player who is comfortable on the ball and confident going forward. Although he had previously been used on the right side of midfield Dale went on to establish himself as the club's first choice right back. His appearances in 2009-10 were restricted by injury and he missed the first four months of the current campaign. Dale made his come back for the reserves in December and went on to become a regular in the first team during the second half of the season. His off-the-field work earned him Rotherham's Community Player of the Season award for 2010-11.
