Player Details
Craig Lindfield is a striker who joined Accrington Stanley in the summer of 2010. Craig began his career at Liverpool where he graduated from the academy to sign professional forms. He scored regularly for the Reds' youth team and was in two FA Youth Cup winning teams while at Anfield. He made his senior debut during a loan spell at Notts County and gained further experience out on loan including time at Stanley in the second half of 2008-09. Craig was subsequently released by Liverpool and trained with Stanley during the early part of 2009-10 but went on to sign for League Two rivals Macclesfield Town for the second half of the campaign. He was used in a number of different positions by the Silkmen including as a striker, wide midfield and in the centre of midfield. Craig was mainly on the substitutes' bench for Stanley but made a couple of starts in the team during 2010-11 as well as adding to his senior experience with a loan period at Kidderminster Harriers. He represented England U19s earlier in his career.
