Clive Platt Biography

Much-travelled striker Clive Platt was a surprise signing by Coventry City just before the start of 2010-11. Clive had played under Sky Blues’ manager Aidy Boothroyd at Colchester the previous season and was felt to be the sort of tall, awkward striker that could help Coventry upset Championship defences. His best performances came early in the season and he netted three times including a cool finish at Bristol City. Later he was very effective coming off the bench.
