Clayton Fortune is a powerful defender who returned to the Football League in the summer of 2010 when he signed for Aldershot Town.

Clayton is a strong player who provides a big physical presence at the back.

He has been used both as a central defender and at left back during a career which began as a scholar at Tottenham Hotspur.

Clayton went on to make his senior debut after moving to Bristol City and gained further experience with Leyton Orient and Darlington before spending the 2009-10 campaign with Conference South club Weston-Super-Mare.

Although he made his debut for Aldershot in the Carling Cup tie with Watford in August, he struggled to break into the side adding only a handful more appearances.

He was released by the Shots in May 2011.
