Chris Sedgwick is a midfielder for League One club Sheffield Wednesday. Sheffield- born and an Owls fan as a youngster, Chris finally returned to his home city in the summer of 2010 after being released by Preston North End. The experienced winger was brought to Hillsborough by Alan Irvine and was a regular, mainly on the left side of midfield, during what proved to be a disappointing 2010-11 campaign for the club. He scored his first goal for the Owls in a 6-2 home win over Bristol Rovers in December, and appeared in 42 competitive games during the season.
