Chris Brunt is a midfield player who signed for West Bromwich Albion in August 2007. Chris has mostly been used on the wing by Albion, but can also play as an attacking central midfielder. He is a hard working player who is comfortable on the ball and is something of a dead-ball specialist. Chris has been a regular in the matchday squad since signing, establishing himself in the line-up in 2008-09, and he has now made over 150 first-team appearances for the club. He started out as a scholar with Middlesbrough, but did not make the first team at the Riverside and it was with Sheffield Wednesday that he first came to prominence. Chris won his first cap for Northern Ireland against Switzerland in August 2004 and has now played more than 30 times for his country. He was appointed as the Baggies? skipper at the start of 2011.
