Cesc Fabregas Biography
Cesc Fabregas is a supremely talented central midfielder who captained the Arsenal team in 2010-11. Cesc's superb vision and passing range combined with a tenacious nature and an attitude that refuses to accept defeat, make him an outstanding player.
A graduate of the Barcelona academy, Cesc moved to London at the age of 15 and he rose to become one of the most influential players at the club. He made his debut as a 16-year-old in a Carling Cup tie against Rotherham in October 2003, he had racked up over 200 appearances by the time his 21st birthday had arrived.
Having led the Gunners’ scoring charts in 2009-10, he was, by his own standards, less influential in 2010-11 when a series of niggling injuries restricted his availability.
Cesc is an integral part of the successful Spain international team and helped them triumph in both the UEFA Championships in 2008 and the 2010 World Cup.
He has also won a host of individual awards including the PFA Young Player of the Year for 2007-08.
In August 2011 he left the Emirates Stadium and signed for his previous club, Barcelona.
