Carlo Cudicini

An experienced goalkeeper who signed for Tottenham Hotspur in January 2009 after he had spent over eight full seasons at Chelsea.

Carlo was signed to challenge the position of Heurelho Gomes as the Spurs' number one 'keeper. Initially Carlo was accorded preference, and his experience, positioning and speed of reaction ensured competent performances in front of the defence.

However, Carlo was then involved in a motorcycle accident which left him with wrist and pelvic injuries. He remained out of action for the remainder of 2009-10 only making his come-back in July 2010.

Carlo was the regular substitute keeper for Spurs during the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League campaign but was first choice in both the Europa Cup and the FA Cup. Carlo is a former Italy U21 international.
